4.4.3 Operations, Maintenance & User Training
Green and efficient design is a good starting point for schools. However, proper
operation and maintenance of facilities is essential for long-term benefits.
Different systems have different requirements to keep them functioning
efficiently and safely. Proper operations and maintenance requires planning,
communication and provision of training for maintenance, administration and
