• When printing document for non-essential use, consider printing double side
and two pages per sheet to reduce paper consumption;
• Reduce travel time and distance for excursions, sporting events, etc. through
thoughtful planning;
• Purchase services and products from contractors and suppliers that are
committed to low carbon operations; and
• Select products that can be recycled, involve minimal packaging and are
locally produced. Such products are generally ‘low-carbon’, etc.
