Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong SoHo in Sheung Wan is designed, built and managed by Yau Lee Holdings
and its subsidiaries. Ir Antonio Chan, Executive Director of REC Engineering Company Limited introduces the
project background, “The Group has been focusing on green and environmental-friendliness as the direction
for its corporate development, specifically to help create a better quality of life and living environment for the
community as a whole. This project’s architectural design, building materials, construction technologies, as
well as mechanical and electrical equipment are all consistent with that green philosophy. As a subsidiary, we
aim to provide green and energy efficient total solution. It is our hope that through this project, the Group can
publicly showcase the research, development and application of environmentally-friendly technologies, and
help achieve new breakthroughs in this field.”

興建及管理均由有利集團及其附屬公司負責。
盈電工程有限公司執行董事陳紫鳴工程師表
示：「集團一直以環保為發展方向，力求為
社會建設一個更優質的生活環境，因此酒店
在建築設計、建築物料、建築技術、機電設
備等層面均貫徹環保理念。我們身為附屬公
司亦以提供環保節能方案為目標。因此，我
們希望透過這個項目，將各項集團研發的環
保技術及應用對外展示，藉此尋求突破。」
Design with Unique Concept
項目理念各有不同
Hysan Place
Hysan Place is located in Causeway Bay, one of the world’s
most expensive and vibrant areas. The population density
in this neighbourhood means that the pollution level
is more severe than elsewhere in Hong Kong. “Hysan
Place is not only a green building that has both energy-
saving capabilities and a reduced carbon footprint,”
explains Dr LK Chan, Director of Design and Project of
Hysan Development Company Limited. “We have given
this project a unique vision and mission of helping to
reduce the problem of pollution in the Causeway Bay
area. Although it is only a single building and may not
contribute much, we still want to take the initiative.”
希慎廣場
希慎廣場位處世界最昂貴及繁華的地段之一銅鑼灣，人煙
稠密令污染更形嚴重。希慎興業建築設計及項目總監陳麗喬
博士表示：「集團除希望興建一座節能減排的綠色建築外，
還有一個特殊的理念和使命，就是協助解決銅鑼灣的地區
污染。雖然項目只是單一建築物，不可能一下子帶來極大
改善，但我們認為值得帶頭盡一分力。」
