The Parkview Green, FangCaoDi, Beijing 北京僑福廣場-芳草地
The Jury felt that this development managed to use its design
and structure to bring the community into the building in a most
creative way, and was impressed by the look and character of
the development. Careful control of the pedestrian traffic and a
combination of uses allows features such as the architecturally-
designed, bowed cable bridge to bring people into the heart of
the building, whilst still allowing access to the hotel, office and
common space at different times. Also to be commended is the
self-cleaning material used in the external structure, covering
the envelope and the innovative ‘skin’ design. Overall, the panel
was impressed with the slanting roof design of the building which
minimising over-shading of the neighbourhood, whilst the large-
scale, multi-storey passive ventilation techniques allowed for
better indoor environment quality with reduced operational costs.
The indoor environment of the building was also benefitted by
the sunken gardens, the many floors of elevated landscapes and
indoor / outdoor flow, which would improve working conditions
and ensure occupant comfort. This project was inspiring and
well deserving of the Grand Award in the New Building and
Constructed Building Category of the Green Building Award 2012.
評審團認為芳草地不但能夠使用一個綠色的設計及建築結
構，而且還透過這設計把社群融於其中，實在充滿創意，
更對芳草地的外型及風格留下深刻的印象。
此外，評審團對項目中所採用的適量人流控制及各種建築
組元也十分滿意，好像塔樓之間的步行天橋不但可以讓行
人步行至整個建築物的核心，同時仍然能提供前往酒店，
辨公室及公共空間的通道。此外值得一讚的是建築物外牆
結構採用的自我清洗系統，它覆蓋了建築物的外殼及創新
的外層設計。
整體而言，評審團對傾斜的金字塔外型屋頂設計十分欣
賞，因為這確保了周邊的住宅可以享受充足日照。同時，
大型，多層式的通風技術可以促進空氣的自然對流，保證
了內部空氣的流通，不但創造了一個清新健康的室內環
境，還有效減低使用成本。此外室內的環境質素也隨低窪
花園，多層式的架空園景，室內外的空氣對流而提升，大
大改善了工作環境及確保在內的人們感到舒適。
總括而言，這個專案十分有啟發性，也值得羸取是屆環保
建築(新建類別)大獎。
Merit Award 優異
BaiSha Wan Beach and Visitor Centre
白沙灣海水浴場旅客服務中心
The Jury believed that the beautiful angles of the green roof,
spanning this redevelopment of this popular beach and visitor
centre, was one of the key qualities and a reason for awarding
this project a Merit Award in the New Building and Constructed
Building Category of the Green Building Award 2012. It was to be
noted in particular that the way in which this redevelopment had
integrated the old building into the new site, providing harmony
between the old facility and the new, between the surrounding
natural landscape and the built environment, and providing
important facilities for everyone, was to be commended.
評審團相信此項目其中一個設計的重點，就是那草坡屋頂
所呈現的美麗角度橫跨了白沙灣沙灘及新建的旅客服務中
心，而這也是它榮獲今屆環保建築(新建類別)優異獎的原
因。其中值得關注的是這個重建項目把原有建築與新建的
旅客服務中心融合，充份體現出新舊建築之間的和諧感，
及自然環境與建築物之間天人合一，和諧共處的關係，同
時這個建設也是一個重要的公眾設施。

那瑪夏環保小學-高雄市那瑪夏區民權國民小學-台達電莫
拉克風災校園重建
Following such a terrible tragedy, it was commendable that the
redevelopment of this school should involve the community, its
history and its culture in such detail. It was noted that the school
buildings made excellent use of local materials and local designs,
with the library buildings evoking the local flowers of the region.
In addition, it was an excellent choice of site, in a more stable
location, with a more flexible and adaptable structure capable of
withstanding substantial climate extremes and yet still providing
excellent natural ventilation and cooling. The panel was delighted
to give a Merit Award to this example of social sustainability.
經過一場如此恐怖的莫拉克風災後，這個校舍重建項目盡
力地包含當地的社群，歷史，及文化，如此細膩的心思實
在值得一讚。重建的校舍善用了當地的原材料及設計，而
外型酷似當地常見曼陀羅花的圖書館也成為了那兒最美的
圖書館。此外，校舍重建的地點是一個比以往更安全的位
置，靈活而適應性強的建築結構更可抵禦惡劣極端的天氣
變化，同時仍然提供一個自然通風及降溫的環境。不過，
評審團感到最欣慰的是那瑪夏民權國小的重建體現了當地
為社區持續更新發展的努力，所以獲得環保建築(新建類
別)優異獎實在實至名歸。
