Ocean Financial Centre
This high-quality project enjoys four levels of sky gardens which
will provide landscape excellence, uses a triple-glazed facade
and PVB insulating layer for efficient design with great IEQ,
preserved existing trees where possible, and uses recyclable
materials throughout. The building incorporated various design
elements including sky garden, vertical green-wall, natural
ventilation for the car park, pre-fabricated materials, the reuse of
basement walls and pile rafts which lower energy consumption in
the new building. The project also used pre-fabricated materials
where practical, and basement walls and pile rafts were re-
used from the previous Ocean building for the design and build
approach.The project would have better achievements if lifecycle
assessment and economic analysis were being conducted.
擁有四層高空中花園的海洋金融中心不但展示了一片壯麗
的景觀，更被評審團評價為一個高質素的項目。金融中心
採用了三層式玻璃表面和PVB絕緣層，是一個有效提升室
內空氣質素的設計。此項目盡量保育原有樹木，在整個建
造過程中更使用可循環再用的物料。海洋金融中心融合了
多種設計元素，包括空中花園，綠化直立牆，停車場自然
通風系統，預先組裝的物料，再用的地下層牆，和低能源
消耗的樁筏。另外，這個項目的設計及建造方式也用了預
先組裝的物料，及重用之前尚未重建的海洋中心地下層牆
及樁筏。不過，如實施了生命週期評估及經濟分析，此項
目將可獲得更高的成就。
Shijia Ecological House 石家村生態農宅
This project is a prototype design modelled on a four-hundred
years old village house using concrete, brick, and mud as the
major construction materials which are all locally available. The
roof design blends in harmoniouslywith the local neighbourhood,
and the surrounding mountains. Apart from its sustainable
design based on traditional living style, use of biogas tank, it
maintains the heritage and living style of the local villages.
評審團認為這項目是一個模範的設計。它模仿了一個四百
多年歷史的老村屋，用了當地的混凝土，磚及泥為主要建
築材料。屋頂的設計與當地社群及周遭山脈和諧地交融。
這項目除了有一個以傳統生活方式為基礎的可持續發展設
計和生物燃氣的使用外，它更維持了當地村落的遺產和生
活方式。
