Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.
HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Public Education Executive.
Job Description:
You will be a key person of a project team to promote the importance of sustainable built environment and the impact of green building on environmental issue to general public and school communities. You will also be involved in the production of video, marketing collaterals, arrangement of workshops and seminar, etc. to raise the awareness on green building concepts and drive environmentally responsible behavioural change.
Key Roles:
- Report to the Head of Marketing and Marketing & PR Manager;
- Assist in developing the storyline and execution of the videos and other promotion materials together with production house and stakeholders;
- Plan and manage the promotion programme including budgeting, execution and other logistic arrangements;
- Support the promotion of the videos in various online and offline channels;
- Solicit support and follow up with the participating schools on training/workshops/tours and talks;
- Manage and coordinate with the Supporting Organisations on promotion and collaboration;
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing or related disciplines;
- 1 year or above online media experience is a MUST;
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage;
- Detail-minded, versatile and be able to work closely with production house and contractors;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team;
- Proficient in PC applications including MS Office, Chinese work processing and database management;
- Agency or media experience is a plus;
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver would be an advantage.
