Energy Saving Funds of the Two Power Companies
Date: 24 May 2019 (Friday)
Time: 5:00-6:15pm
Energy efficiency and conservation are important strategies to mitigate climate change. Improving electrical and mechanical (E&M) equipment in buildings is a key method to achieve these strategies. Not only will this reduce the operating expenses of buildings, it will also help to promote environmental awareness and improve the sustainability of our society. Another benefit of upgrading E&M equipment is to help the buildings obtain green building certification. These certificates can demonstrate the environmental achievements of building owners. This talk aims at introducing the community energy saving funds of the two power companies, including a subsidy scheme for green building certification. In particular, the funding offers that are relevant to NGOs and registered charities will be introduced in detail.
