On behalf of the Construction Industry Council, I would like to extend my

warmest congratulations to all the winners of the Green Building Award

2016. The award demonstrates the strength and commitment of the

construction community working together to develop Hong Kong as a

sustainable green city.

I wish the Green Building Award continued success in the years ahead.

本人謹代表建造業議會衷心祝賀「環保建築大獎 2016」各項目得獎者。它

彰顯了建造業界為構建香港成為一個可持續發展綠色城市的共同力量和所

作之貢獻。

在此，祝願「環保建築大獎」續創佳績。

On behalf of Business Environment Council (BEC), I congratulate the

Green Building Award for gaining wide public recognition since its

inception in 2006. Over the past decade, the Award has contributed

greatly towards enhancing the environment of Hong Kong and Asia

Pacific through recognising and showcasing the efforts and outstanding

examples of green building development. I also applaud the organisers’

foresight in continuously enriching the Award, thereby increasing its

impact. The newly added category of Green Building Leadership this

year is a good example. With a shared vision of building Hong Kong into

a greener, healthier low-carbon city, BEC is pleased to be a supporting

organisation of this meaningful Award.

環保建築大獎自 2006 年舉辦至今，廣受社會各界認同，本人謹代表「商

界環保協會」衷心致賀。十載以來，大獎致力表揚各界在環保建築發展的

努力和卓越表現，對改善香港和亞太區的環境，貢獻良多。主辦機構不斷

充實獎項內容，藉以加強環保推廣效益，遠見尤為值得嘉許，今年新增綠

建領導獎項便是明證。本會致力推動香港發展成更環保、更健康的低碳城

市，與大獎懷抱共同願景，因此，本會非常高興成為大獎的支持機構。
