Green Building Award 2016

The Green Building Award (GBA) 2016 is the 6

Award in the

Green Building Award series. Initiated by PGBC in 2006, the

GBA has been pioneering in showcasing the outstanding

performance and efforts taken in addressing environmental

and sustainability concerns. With a fruitful collaboration with

HKGBC in co-organising the Award since 2010, it is very

encouraging to see that the GBA has developed into an

industry-wide event recognising the innovations, efforts and

leadership of professionals and many industry stakeholders

here in Hong Kong as well as creating a meaningful arena

facilitating knowledge sharing and synergy formation.

PGBC is committed to devote ourselves in further promoting

the creation of a quality and sustainable built environment

in Hong Kong through multi-disciplinary partnership and

to crystalise the momentum gained in the GBA series for

transforming towards a better common future of Hong Kong,

in particular for your next generation.

I would like to offer my sincere gratitude to the GBA 2016

Organising Committee, the Scientific Committee and the

Jury Panel for their valuable time and efforts in contributing

to the continued success of the GBA, as well as my

congratulations to all the GBA 2016 award recipients for

their visions and exemplary efforts in contributing to this

green movement in Hong Kong.

為了表揚在應對環境和可持續發展的卓越成就，環保建築專

業議會早在 2006 年就開始舉辦環保建築大獎，今年環保建

築大獎 2016 已經是第六屆。這一個兩年一度的獎項鼓勵發

展項目以可持續環境作為原則和前題。環保建築專業議會與

香港綠色建築議會自 2010 年起攜手合辦環保建築大獎，我

很欣慰看到本獎項已成為一項備受業界認同的盛事，並對業

界的專業人士及持分者的創新、努力和領導能力予以肯定，

這個獎項同時為我們創建了一個環保和可持續發展知識共享

的平台。

環保建築專業議會致力通過不同專業界別的合作，進一步推

廣香港成為優越及可持續發展的國際都會，以及籍本獎項帶

來的動力，推動香港創造更美好未來，惠及我們的下一代。

本人在此向環保建築大獎 2016 籌辦委員會、學術委員會及

評審團致以衷心謝意，他們的寶貴時間和努力造就了環保建

築大獎的成功。同時，我也要恭喜環保建築大獎 2016 的所

有獲獎者，他們的理念及努力為推動香港環保發展作出了重

大的貢獻。
