On behalf of The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects, I am

delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to Hong Kong Green

Building Council for successfully holding the Green Building Award 2016

(The Award) and those award winners.

The Award, which had attracted overwhelming submissions of projects

from overseas and local, would not only promote more environmentally

friendly and sustainable developments, but also educate the future

generations the significance of green buildings in providing the quality

living while minimizing the environmental impacts. Thus, continuation of the

Award is valuable to the ongoing improvement of our living environment.

Wish the Award continued success in the years to come!

我很高興代表香港園境師學會，向香港綠色建築議會成功舉辦 2016 環保

建築大獎（大獎）及其獲獎者致以最熱烈的祝賀。

這大獎吸引了大量在海外及本地的項目參賽，不單只促進了環保及可持續

發展，還教育後人綠色建築在提供優質生活而把環境影響減到最少的重要

性。所以，這大獎的延續對生活環境的持續改善具有價值。

Public awareness of green lifestyle has been increasing in recent years.

The need to develop a sustainable built environment in society is clear.

Over the years, the Green Building Award has been providing recognition

to outstanding building-related projects. The contributions of these

projects in sustainability and the built environment are well acknowledged.

On behalf of the HKIS, I would like to congratulate all winners and

nominees, and wish the Green Building Award 2016 every success.

近年大眾對綠色生活的意識日漸提高。整體社會對可持續發展建築環境的

需求亦大大提升。多年來，環保建築大獎一直表揚傑出的建築項目，就它
