scenario to illustrate the magnitude of the
task. The scenario requires:
• Minimal-Intervention Buildings: Retro-
commissioning 30% of existing
buildings – with the target of reducing
BSI consumption by 10%
• Full Intervention Buildings: Retro-
commission and retrofit 70% of existing
buildings – with the target of reducing
BSI consumption by 35% compared
to 2012 codes (55% enhancement
from an average commercial building
consumption in 2005)
