construction development. The HKGBC
Green Building Product Listing Service
facilitates industry stakeholders including
developers, contractors, sub-contractors,
suppliers/manufacturers, and other building
related professionals to share latest green
building market information. The listing
service is intended to provide building
professionals with a convenient source of
technical information and benchmark on
the listed green products in the market.
To enhance user-friendliness of the listing
service, advanced search function with
flexible multi-criteria filters to cater for the
diversified needs of different groups of users.
What kind of product can be
listed?
Suppliers and manufacturers can submit
building/E&M products of the following 7
categories: Concrete & Structure; Façade
& Roof system; Finishes; Interior Systems;
Mechanical & Electrical Equipment; Building
Materials and Other Products.
All submissions will be vetted by the
HKGBC and only building products that
are certified to be environmental friendly
by organisations recognised by the HKGBC
can be listed on the website. Applicant
needs to submit supporting document
certified by local or worldwide certification
body, verification body and others. To allow
easy access, the products are categorised
according to their green property: Recycled
Content; Carbon Footprint, Eco-Labelling
Scheme (type 1, 2 or 3); Energy Efficiency;
Sustainable Source; Hazardous Substance
Free; and others.

This platform can provide sources of
information including worldwide eco-
labelling scheme, innovative technology and
the industry trends. As every submission has
to undergo approval process, products that
have earned certifications will be identified.
Together with the listed green properties
and additional product description, users
can easily find the right green products.
User-friendly search engine
With the powerful keyword search engine,
users can browse green building products
of various characteristics: energy-saving;
water-saving; locally manufactured; recycled
materials, sustainable resources or bio-based
materials made, etc.
