Hong Kong Green Building Week 2015 - Green Building Ideas Pitch: Ideas Pitching Event (5 Sep)

The final pitching of Green Building Ideas Pitch programmes was held at Good Lab last Saturday, with five selected teams presenting their innovative yet feasible green building ideas in front of judges in the hope of attracting potential investors.

The judging panels included Ir Julian Lee, Manager-Research of the CIC; Ir Conrad Wong, Chairman of the HKGBC; Dr Tse Ka-kui, Director of Good Lab and Founder asang, Head of Innovation & Technology of Invest Hong Kong, Ms Ada Yip, Director of Hong Kong Institute of Social Impact Analysts and Education for Good, and Mr Kelvin Cheung, Chief Operating Officer of Good Lab. After the teams’ presentation, they selected “Longevity Design House” as the winning team.

Longevity Design House has devised a social enterprise plan to help elderly people with home improvement by recycling unused construction materials. The judging panel also selected “Scratch Repair” (材料重新) team as the first runner-up for their patented technology on renewing scratched glass and stainless steel, and “Greener” as the second runner-up for the innovative LED apparatus production procedure to reduce light bulb waste.
