HKGBW 2014 - Green Community Media Tour (5 Sep 2014)
The Hong Kong Green Building Week 2014 held a tour for the Green Community Programme on 5 September. Dr Benny Chow, Director of HKGBC; Ir Jenson Mai, Chief Executive of Mission Healthy Greens and Mr Philip Liu, Project Coordinator of People Service Centre visited the participating households in Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon.
The Programme has helped 20 households to conduct energy audit and replaced high energy and water efficiency devices. In fact, by using T5 tubes, LED light bulbs and flow controllers, each household is expected to save HKD210 in electric bill and HKD106 water and sewage tariff each year, easing their financial burden in long run and, at the same time, saving the planet.
