Hong Kong Green Building Week 2015 - Biz Green Dress Day: Mascot Tour (16 Sep)
Two cute mascots turned up at the offices of the “Biz-Green” companies in Hong Kong to mark the Biz-Green Dress Day on 16 September. Tens of thousands of office workers in Hong Kong dressed light and yet professionally to work to help save on air-conditioning consumption of office buildings, and to nurture a green office culture. The mascot of Hong Kong Green Building Week (綠築仔), and Big Waster, a popular character from the Environment Bureau, paid visits to some of the participating offices and cheered on their employees.
The companies that the mascots visited were those whose employees have earned the highest number of “Likes” with their Biz-Green photos in a Facebook-based photo contest held earlier to collect participants’ “Biz-Green looks”. Hang Lung Properties, whose employees earned the highest number of likes in the contest, was visited by the mascots as the first stop. The mascots were just as popular when they moved on to several other companies that did brilliantly in the contest, including Beexergy Consulting Limited, Johnson Controls Hong Kong Limited, Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong, and VS Media Limited.
