BEAM Plus Platinum Project Certification Ceremony 2016 (13 Dec)
The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) and BEAM Society Limited (BSL) jointly organised the BEAM Plus Platinum Project Certification Ceremony on 13 December 2016 at Charles K. Kao Auditorium of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks.
It is honoured to have Ms Christine LOH Kung-wai, JP, Under Secretary for the Environment, Government of the HKSAR to be the Guest-of-Honour, and Mr CHAN Ka-kui, BBS, JP, Chairman of Construction Industry Council, Ir Cary CHAN, Executive Director of the HKGBC, and Prof. John NG, Chairperson of BSL cum Chairman of Green Labelling Committee of the HKGBC, to be the officiating guests.
A total of 31 projects were presented with the Platinum rating under BEAM Plus. The number of Platinum-rated BEAM Plus projects reached a record high of 31 this year, indicating that green buildings are gaining support from the industry and the community as a whole.
