Case Study - Performance verifications in Singapore
• The information submitted in the Singapore annual performance verification is of high level
nature, and is suitable for high level benchmarking: comparing Energy Efficiency Index [EEI
– kWh/sqm/year] after normalising for different building activities and area breakdown.
• For the Three Yearly Audit, the information submitted is significantly more detailed than
the annual submission, on top of the high level benchmark, such as EEI, objective plant
efficiencies are also to be recorded and reported.
• Other than high level EUI type targets, Hong Kong can also consider efficiency based targets
that directly assess the operating performance of cooling equipment.
