As the project is situated in an urban setting,
great effort has been put in to realising a
comfortable and healthy home for residents.
The implementation of soft landscaping has
been maximised with the provision of a green
roof and Sky Garden, together offering over
40 percent coverage using native species.
The green roof, trees and shrubs are planted
to reduce heat gain, carbon emissions and
air pollution. The Sky Garden and five-metre
gap between the two building blocks further
enhances the microclimate by allowing
permeability and natural ventilation.

Sustainability is the concept of managing
natural resources in a manner that does not
cause harm to the ecosystem, while also
enabling residents to achieve an established
and productive lifestyle. Marinella’s
