Noble Hill is a low density residential estate with 7 numbers of
16-18 storey height residential towers faces the meandering
Ng Tung River. A low building height and well planned
building allocation that provides a path to allow natural wind
passing through between the buildings which can enhance
natural ventilation in urban area and reduce heat island effect.
Residents can enjoy river breeze and beautiful greenery here.
A 7,400m2 (45% of site area) large landscape area with the
tree fencing boundary not only provides a serene
environment, but also helps to mitigate the urban heat island
effect and reduce heat gain from land. It also reduces sound
transmission and controls storm water run-off.
Mass use of glazing design at lift lobby of each residential
tower, clubhouse facilities as well as individual residential unit
creates the optimization of natural lighting relaxes for eyesight
and enhances spacious design. Besides, artificial lighting and
also the electricity can be minimized. A carbon audit is
conducted which total 11.1% of GHG reduction is achieved
in 2011 as compared with 2008.
Noble Hill indoor air quality achieved EPD indoor quality
certificate in excellent class and is re-certificated annually.
To further encourage the concept of green building, we
review the sustainable policy regularly by collecting residents’
comment and suggestion from different communication
channels. It also helps us to arrange proper and attractive
sustainable environmental programs like workshop and
greenfield tour for passing the green messages to residents.
Mission to take the green concept becomes part of everyday
life.
