The Gloucester is located at the junction between Gloucester
Road and Marsh Road in Wan Chai of Hong Kong Island,
which is a convenient and densely populated district of
commercial and residential mixed use. The Gloucester is a
high-rise single tower private residential development, a
typical urban renewal project scale in Hong Kong. The
development, of about 160m high, has 41 storeys with 177
residential units, a 2-storey Skyclub with Aquarium-style
Indoor Heated SkyPool and Gymnasium at 43/F and 45/F
and a podium garden with Mini Lawn Bowling Court at 3/F.
Unlike the other typical high-rise residential buildings in Hong
Kong Island, The Gloucester implements an Environmental
Passive Green Building Design to respect the local context,
reduce the environmental load and enhance the living quality
in Life Cycle perspective. This project aims to experiment “A
Sustainable Urban Renewal Prototype in Hong Kong”

本項目位於香港灣仔告示打道與馬師道交界,是灣仔高密
度“商住混合區”和“辦公區”的交界位置,公共交通和
社區服務設施十分便利。專案為單棟高層高檔私人住宅樓
,是香港舊區重建的典型規模,樓高約160米,共41層,提
供177個單位。3樓住客會所為平臺花園和小型滾球場,43
樓和45樓為水族館式室內恒溫游泳池和健身房。
有別於香港島其他的高層住宅建築,尚匯採用被動式環保
建築設計,因地制宜減低碳排放,以達致提升全生命週期
生活質量。本項目旨在構建一個“可持續性的香港舊區重
建的模式”。
